Where Champions Are Built: Elite Competition & Character

The Michigan Elite 25 Foundation was founded in 2013 by former NBA player, Tim McCormick, and sports marketing expert, Michael Dietz. During the summer and throughout the school year, our selection committee evaluates basketball players throughout the State of Michigan. Players in each grade level (rising 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders) are evaluated based on skill level and potential, and the “Elite 25” from each grade level are selected to take part in our camp. Participants will develop basketball skills, be exposed to basketball competition from across the state, attend educational seminars, and experience valuable guest lectures.

Michigan Elite 25 also features a Rising Stars program for boys and girls entering grades 6–8. Forty boys and forty girls are selected to participate in elite basketball training, leadership development, and character-building experiences.

Our mentoring component emphasizes the importance of hard work, family, and community. Our camp helps young men and women establish high self-leadership standards, community awareness, and a winning game plan to make personal goals and basketball dreams a reality.
